Buoy 10 Salmon season (Columbia River fishing) began August 1. As of 8/24, fishing is excellent and Coho are being caught in the river, in addition to Chinook salmon. Catching keeper Chinook (they have to be hatchery fish to keep them) has been challenging lately, but were getting tons of action and limits or near limits every day, including Coho in very good numbers. Coho fishing should just get better over the next couple of weeks and Im expecting good Coho fishing in the Buoy 10 area of the Columbia River throughout September and probably into October as well.
Dungeness Crab fishing season is coming right up. We offer Dungeness crab fishing charters beginning September 10th and continue through the end of the year.
