I’m Jeff Keightley.  I hope to be your salmon fishing guide. I offer a variety of fishing charters, including salmon, sturgeon, steelhead, bottom fishing (for rockfish like Ling Cod and Sea Bass), and Dungeness crab fishing on the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean out of Astoria, Oregon.

4/21/2026  Bottom Fishing (Rock Cod,Ling Cod)is always open and typically excellent. We just need favorable ocean conditions, which can be hit or miss until about July. The good news is that winter and spring months are usually fantastic for fishing if conditions are right.

Catch and release Sturgeon Fishing.  Always open.  Gets going mid May, gets unbeleivably good by the first week of June.  Last three weeks of June and the first couple of week in July is nearly unbeleivable.  30+ a day is normal on these giants.  

Ocean Salmon season begins on the northern Oregon Coast on June 20 and runs throughout September.  We nearly always get limits of salmon in this exciting fishery.

Buoy 10 Salmon season (Columbia River fishing) begins August 1 and we normally do very well through the end of September
