I’m Jeff Keightley. I’m and 18 year veteran fishing guide offering guided fishing charters in Astoria, Oregon. Whether you’re after salmon, sturgeon, crab, or bottom fishing, I run charters on the Columbia River and Pacific Ocean out of Astoria, Oregon, and I work hard to put you on fish.

We fish here all of the time and here only. Astoria has been one of the top salmon fishing hubs in the Pacific Northwest for generations. Ocean Salmon season runs late June through September on the northern Oregon Coast, and Buoy 10 salmon fishing on the Columbia River opens August 1st – two of the best windows on the calendar for hooking into Chinook and Coho.

Every trip is built around what you want out of the day, whether that’s salmon fishing, catch and release sturgeon fishing on the lower Columbia River, bottom fishing, or Dungeness crab. I provide the boat, tackle, and know-how – you just show up ready to fish.

Ocean Salmon season began on the northern Oregon Coast on June 20 and runs throughout September.  We nearly always get limits of salmon in this exciting fishery.  The Coho salmon recently showed up in force and fishing has been very good!

Buoy 10 Salmon season (Columbia River fishing) began August 1. So far, its been a little bit hit or miss. That’s normal for this early in Buoy 10 season (and why we have been fishing the ocean). Historically, the river fishes well sometime between now and the middle of the month. Any day now we will be switching to the river.
