I’m Jeff Keightley.  I hope to be your salmon fishing guide. I offer a variety of fishing charters, including salmon, sturgeon, steelhead, bottom fishing (for rockfish like Ling Cod and Sea Bass), and Dungeness crab fishing on the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean out of Astoria, Oregon.

1/20/2026  Bottom Fishing (Rock Cod,Ling Cod)is always open and typically excellent. We just need favorable ocean conditions, which can be hit or miss until about July. The good news is that winter and spring months are usually fantastic for fishing if conditions are right.

Spring Chinook Salmon Fishing is right around the corner.  Please call before you book for this fishery.  It's not for everyone.  Not typically anything that resembles fast action, but the prize is worth the effort.  Best quality salmon that exists on earth.  It could ruin you for eating other salmon!
