Salmon, sturgeon, steelhead, bottom fishing (for rockfish like Ling Cod and Sea Bass) and dungeness crab fishing charters on the Columbia river and Pacific Ocean out of Astoria, Oregon.

1/22/2025 Salmon fishing Spring Chinook Salmon fishing on the Columbia River opens March 1.  Honestly, the last several years it hasnt been good until late March at the earliest.  And by good, I mean there's a reasonable chance at catching fish.  Spring Chinook fishing is TOUGH!  Not fast action. Bring your patience hat for sure.  The good news is that these fish are worth the effort.  Best eating salmon on earth! We will offer trips starting March 21. 

Bottom fishing is always open.  It's normally excellent. We just need an enjoyable ocean, which unfortunately, is hit or miss from now until July or so.  The good news is that winter and spring months are normally extremely good fishing if we get good conditions.
